Dancing through Formosa is part of the NTCH FormosART series, an initiative by the National Theater and Concert Hall, Taipei to showcase original works that highlight Taiwan’s diverse cultural narratives through innovative theater and performance. For nine years, this series has been supported by a multinational corporation dedicated to promoting public welfare, fostering the creation of meaningful and impactful productions.
Set in Taiwan, this new musical intertwines the lives of three women across generations, each navigating the challenges of finding or maintaining a home. Against the backdrop of a construction site turned performance space in 2023. Their stories unfold, revealing struggles with family, societal expectations, and personal aspirations.

國家兩廳院藝術出走邁入第九年，已巡演15個縣市，吸引超過6萬名觀眾參與。2023最新作品《寶島曼波Formosa》力邀全方位女星方文琳、方宥心、張仰瑄領銜主演，與九位音樂劇演員聯手共演，並由台南人劇團藝術總監呂柏伸執導，蔡志擎編劇暨作詞，三金音樂家柯智豪作曲暨編曲，以工地秀概念共同打造全新臺味音樂劇。
故事圍繞在三個不同世代女人之間，透過多首原創與經典歌曲，敘說各自對家的渴望與想像，結合暖心劇情、精湛歌舞和歡鬧秀場娛樂，串起臺灣80年代至今的社會變遷和人情冷暖，讓成長於不同年代的觀眾，都能在笑聲與淚水中找到共鳴。
